Shaping the Built Environment

I'm Pranav Akula, a freshman at the New York Institute of Technology, studying architecture with a strong interest in how design, space, and structure come together to shape the built environment. I'm especially drawn to the process of turning abstract ideas into real, tangible forms—whether that's through digital modeling, drawings, or physical work.

Most of my current work involves Rhino 3D, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite, and I spend a lot of time refining designs through both visualization and iteration. Alongside digital tools, I really enjoy model making, because it allows me to test form, scale, and material in a hands-on way that deepens how I understand space.

I come from a background that emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and long-term commitment, which influences how I approach design projects. I'm motivated, detail-oriented, and always looking to improve, and this collection of work reflects my ongoing growth as a designer and future architect.
